Fall 2021 A-OK! Knock-Knock! Meet and Treat Program
Hello Friends and Neighbors:
A-OK! is a community service program created in partnership with the Newbury Council on Aging to lift-up our community and bring us all closer together with music, dance, and creativity. We loved being able to share our performance and connect with our community.

Acts of Kindness Troupe Pay It Forward
Mrs. Fix has asked the troupe members to create a ripple of kindness by giving them each $100 to use for community service. Here are some of the creative ways they have paid it forward:
Brock made a donation to the Exchange Club of Lawerence to purchase planes for the aviation program. This program provides a safe place for kids to build and fly remote planes after school. Chris Rines (seen in picture) with GLCAC, Michael B. Christian Center, have gladly accepted this donation to purchase the materials needed for up coming class of aviators.
They have also asked Brock to visit once the upcoming season starts! |
Great idea Michael!

Acts of Kindness Spring 2021 Rehearsals & Projects
Theater Workshop's Spring 2021 program, Acts of Kindness (A-OK!), is a community service program in partnership with the Council on Aging and the Town of Newbury Library.
The program is designed for youth grades 3-12. Participants will perform acts of service for the greater Newbury community with a focus on theater arts while fostering interpersonal oratory skills, confidence, and teamwork to achieve the program’s objective: to reach the senior community by providing acts of kindness, information, and the happiness that comes from loving neighbors. |
