​Interns meet at the NES Auditorium after school on rehearsal days and assist with rehearsals- leading games, teaching dances, running lines... 
​
Interns also learn the technical elements of theater- production assisting backstage, lighting, sound, costuming...

Congratulations go out to Sam Bell, Senior Intern!
​His article, podcast and video about Theater Workshop was selected as one of the best out of 5,000 other schools and made "Best of SNO".
 
Each week, the company that hosts the Triton school newspaper website  selects the best student work from all over the U.S. for its national edition.

Did you know?

  • Participation in Theater Workshop is open to children in all surrounding communities. We welcome participants from Newbury, Byfield, Salisbury, Rowley, Newburyport, West Newbury, Georgetown and beyond. 
  • No auditions are necessary to participate in our Theater Production program.  All abilities are welcome to join and participate in our stage production.  
  • Meets at Newbury Elementary School, Hanover St, Newbury. 
  • Theater Workshop provides the highest quality after-school enrichment programming that is emotionally safe, confidence-building, and inclusive.
